The DollyrotsThe Dollyrots in Podcast 1, 2 and 12

Kelly played the part of herself

Luis played the part of himself and punk guy number 1

The Dollyrots are one girl and two boys. They're a punk band but their CDs are very pop. Kelly is sugar sweet but mischievous and might sucker punch you if you're dumb enough to try her patience. She likes to do girl things like grow plants and sew up her t-shirts and crochet and make strawberry cakes. But, she also likes to play her basses til they are sprinkled with blood. She likes to get carsick reading and send postcards from the road so send her your address or favorite book (really!). Please don't send it if you don't want The Dollyrots knocking on your door next tour looking for a floor and a shower!
Then there is Luis... Luis is mysterious. And very smart. He is one of those guys who you meet and think maybe you'd join his cult. He is also known to get feisty when he's hungry or afraid he's getting sick. Which he seems to get all the time due to a combo weak immune system/paranoid disposition. It's really easy to get Luis to flinch, he's not crazy about people touching him. Maybe it's because he was abducted when he lived in Ecuador as a child. He likes good brit punk, music of the early 90's because it's honest and don't forget Chuck Berry and Patsy Cline. On the road he likes to read parts of books and stare out the window. He's good to talk to.
The Dollyrots are signed to Blackheart records and you can see their website at: http://www.thedollyrots.com

Amy Snow Played Colleen in Podcats 3 - Shamrock 'n Roll

Played Herself in Podcats 11 - The Podcast That Must Not Be Named

Amy Snow

Amy was born in the late twentieth century to two parents - a man and a woman - in a hospital as was custom at the time. Early in life Amy knew that she wanted to be a singer and would spend childhood car journeys singing duets in the back of the car with her sister. It wasn't until she was 18 that Amy made the decision to study Music and Drama and Theatre Studies at university which began her journey to the stage. Now at the age of 20, Amy is a singer/songwriter and actress and co-hosts a popular Wizard Rock podcast as well as continuing her bachelor's degree course. Her favourite classes are Pop Ensemble, Film Music and Theatre Texts and Contexts. Her favourite sports are Trampolining and ice skating. Amy spends most of her days eating or thinking about chocolate.

Kim Newsome

Played Ipawndra in Podcats 5 & 6 - The White Podcast & Don't Label Me

Kim Newsome

If you were to choose just one word to describe K. D. Newsome, that word would be "scrumptious". Quite possibly the most delectable Local Television Executive Producer to ever host a Harry Potter-related Podcast in Arkansas, Kim has made her mark amongst the internet celebrity ranks, and her virtual star just keeps rising. As the webmaster/forum admin/executive producer/show host/senior editor for SpinnersCast, Kim stays busy, but manages to still hold down a respectable and relatively thankless job in TV news, and enjoy a life with her circle of friends and family. Impressed? Don't be. You could do it too. When she's not guest hosting on her friends' podcasts, Kim is an avid power shopper, a hiker, Arsenal football club (soccer) supporter, and a rapidly improving cook.

Megan SchuylerPlayed Pearl in Podcats 5 & 6 - The White Podcast & Don't Label Me

Played Sienna in Podcats 7 through 12 - Charlene's Angels, Dreamcats, Residential Evil, The Podcast That Must Not Be Named, Yule Know Them by the Trail of Dead

Megan Schuyler

Megan is actually a resident of the lesser-known Washington city of Spokane, where she works as a video producer and editor. It doesn't rain there nearly as much as in Seattle, but it has some good points too: Spokane is home to the largest timed road race AND the largest 3 on 3 basketball tournament in the WORLD. Megan's first feature-length endeavor is the Wizard Rockumentary: a Movie about Rocking and Rowling, which led her to meet the Kittens through a shared love of Harry Potter, and the making of their music video "Ode to Harry." Other than shackling herself to her edit suite (a true workaholic-in-training), Megan enjoys eating gluten-free foods, road tripping with her twin sister, and just generally trying to make the most out of life each and every day!

Micah Moses

Played Tex in Podcats 7 - Charlene's Angels

Micah Moses

Micah Moses is an audio editor and occasional guest host for SpinnersCast. His goal is to become the fifth Switchblade Kittens band member under the name of 'Comedy Kitten'. He also wants the title of the scruffiest podcaster you ever did meet.

NefretPlayed Charlene in Podcats 7 - Charlene's Angels

Nefret is a big fan of using funny voices and making a complete fool of herself, the bigger the fool the better. Nefret is usually embarrassing herself over at WizardRock.org the amazing site she helps run.

Prof. J. Brown

Played Stan Glasswich in Podcats 8 - Dreamcats

Professor Jeff Brown

- This guy's done stand up comedy, writing for himself and others like Mz. Michigan (He had to! Not only wasn't she funny, her lips moved. He fixed the funny part, I'm guessing. Doesn't speak much these days. Cat's got his tongue. Dramaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!)

- This guy's also been in a band: Cheap Date. What else do you call a bunch of guys who eat each others belly lint for sustenance and live in a shoe. (Humble up, you're not the only one, Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.)

- He's currently, believe it or not, working as a college professor to several small groups of semi-adolescent, drone-like creatures. (Yes, Kathy, that's "like" as in a comparison. Not "like" as in every other word out of your mouth. Now go practice you like-less like speaking . . . like).

- And he's also an entrepreneur attempting to sooth the savage beast (humans) in their desire to exceed and excel all things human--like getting way too uptight about things and forgetting that you can't do much with your head glued to your belly button. Good eatin' but not much production. It's called Inner Projection and will be up and about on the Internet soon. Dig.

- Oh, check out his book: Black Body Radiation and the Ultraviolet Catastrophe, that is if you're into philosophical, theological, science fiction / fantasy, comedy, satire, essays. What ? Well, try Harry Potter meets Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy meets A Brief History of Time meets Gulliver's Travels meets Gandhi meets Groucho Marks. You can get it now at Amazon.com. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1411622235/ref=cm_rna_own_review_img/002-9490314-1626424

It's all on his site www.ProfessorJeff.com

Ashley FarrarPlayed Ashley in Podcats 11 - The Podcast That Must Not Be Named

Ashley Farrar

Ashley is HP-Ohio's Official Wizard Rock Expert, a college student, a life-long musician and a bookworm. When not writing papers at the last minute or staying up late and getting nothing accomplished she hosts the Podcast of Awesome, an all wizard rock podcast, posts news on wizardrock.org or keeps tabs on the bands on RealWizardRock.com. She loves wearing her kilt and insists pipe band is her favorite part of college. It's rare to see Ashley without her trusty MP3 player at her side or her headphones on listening to anything from bagpipes to, well, wizard rock! Back in 2003 she coined the phrase "If the wizard rock is too loud, then you're a Death Eater!" but has since changed it since so many Death Eaters are involved in wizard rock and she doesn't want to get AKed by any of them!

You can easily get a hold of Ashley on myspace or by e-mailing podcastofawesome@gmail.com and remember, "If the Wizard Rock is too loud, then you're a Muggle!"

Terri Nunn
